Manager – Production & Process Engineering | Fine & Specialty Chemicals (Dahej, Gujarat) Full-time | Onsite | Reporting to Plant Head

hands-on experience in reduction-based manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production to achieve safety, quality, and delivery targets.
• Oversee process engineering activities including optimization, yield improvement, and cost efficiency.
• Supervise and enhance operations within the reduction block and other key reaction areas.
• Drive process safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma).
• Manage technology transfer, process scale-up, and documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs).
• Collaborate with R&D, Projects, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.
• Develop and mentor a team of engineers and supervisors for operational excellence.

Preferred Experience

• 8–12 years

  in fine, specialty, or agrochemical manufacturing.
• Proven exposure to

  reduction chemistry

  , preferably involving

  DIBAL

  or similar hydride-based reactions.
• Familiarity with

  hydrogenation, chlorination, bromination, and cyanation

  processes.
• Solid understanding of

  process safety management (PSM)

  and regulatory standards.
• Education:

  B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
