Manager - Product Development Engineering

Role Value Proposition :

Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of software development solutions within a defined system,

platform or product, based on a set of standards and processes which establish consistency acrost the enterprise data,

reduce risk and promote efficiencies in support of the organization s goals and objectives. This family can be used for

both roles that require a complete technology stack of capabilities as well as roles that require to work on a single

technology stack, application or platform.

Key Responsibilities :

Manages a product team that consist of 2- 4 feature teams in the development and maintenance of an E2E IT

solution.

Responsible for setting, prioritizing, and accepting the work generated by an Agile team in order to ensure the

platform meets the defined goals and vision.

Establish and enforce best practices in code control, code reviews, unit testing, DevOps, and application

maintenance.

Helps identify risks and removes barriers so that the team can move forward in development.

Manage and drive audits to conclusions.

Ensure vendor performance and deliverables meet contract specifications

Full people management responsibility for direct product team including hiring, firing, promotions, performance,

career and compensation management, & training & development.

Matrix management responsibility for cross functional team members aligned to product team that includes

performance management.

Gain awareness of trends and issues in area of technical expertise, potential new technologies or technology

opportunities. Participates in discussions that solve business challenges by leveraging technology.

Manage product feature software delivery through continuous focus on software development and maintenance

metrics and KPIs.

Manage user centric design and agile development life cycle.

Manages resources to planned feature outcomes, with awareness of over /under utilization and ways to adjust.

Education :

Bachelor s degree (Any Stream) or diploma with a minimum of 15 years of education.

Experience : 0-9 Year

Technical Skill :

Agile Practices Application Design/Architecture Cloud Native Technologies Relationship/Stakeholder Management Team Management/Engagement Product/Business/Industry Knowledge DevSecOps, CI/CD Secure design and coding practices Applicable Development Language
