Manager - PR at Croma (A TATA Enterprise)

Role & responsibilities:-

Media Relations Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers
• Work with the PR agency to draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media statements, and other press materials
• Handle media inquiries and coordinate interview requests for company spokespersons
• Monitor media coverage and maintain a comprehensive media database
• Organise and execute press conferences, media events, and press briefings
• Track and analyse media coverage metrics to evaluate PR campaign effectiveness

Public Relations Strategy Implementation

• Ideate for and execute PR campaigns and initiatives aligned with organisational objectives
• Develop media pitch ideas and secure positive coverage in target publications
• Create compelling story angles and content to highlight company achievements and initiatives
• Support the development and implementation of communication plans for product launches, campaigns, and company announcements
• Maintain updated company fact sheets, executive bios, and other PR materials

Crisis Communication Support

• Create and assist in implementing crisis communication protocols and procedures
• Monitor potential issues and flag emerging concerns to leadership
• Draft crisis communication materials using pre-approved templates
• Support social media response during crisis situations
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during crisis management
• Maintain documentation of crisis-related communications
• Contribute to post-crisis analysis and lessons learned

Executive Communication Support

• Draft talking points and briefing documents for executive media interactions
• Coordinate media training sessions for company spokespersons
• Support the development of thought leadership content for executives
• Assist in preparing executives for public speaking engagements and media interviews
• Track and capitalise on opportunities for executive visibility in industry conversations

Content Development

Write and edit high-quality content for various external communications

Develop compelling press materials that align with company messaging

Create content for corporate website's newsroom section

Support content development for corporate social media channels

Assist in creating presentation materials for industry events

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• 5-7 years of PR experience, preferably in retail or technology sector
• Proven track record of successful media relations and PR campaign execution
• Experience in crisis communications and issues management
