Manager Payroll and Compliance

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Manager Payroll and Compliance to manage the entire gamut of statutory payroll compliance, including Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), ESIC, EPF, TDS, and other statutory filings.

Preferred candidate profile

Process monthly salary, reimbursements, and final settlements in line with statutory deductions and rules.

Prepare and submit Professional Tax (PT) calculations and filings for applicable

states.

Manage Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) contributions, state-wise eligibility and timely remittance.

Administer EPF contributions, generate and upload ECR files, and ensure accurate

UAN linking and KYC.

Calculate and remit ESIC contributions; handle ESIC portal updates and challan bifurcation.

Ensure accurate TDS deductions, submission of Form 24Q, and issue of Form 16.

Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly statutory challans and returns (EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF, etc.)

Track and process employee eligibility for gratuity as per the Payment of Gratuity Act, including continuous service tracking, settlement calculation, and compliance with tax rules.

Onboarding and Off boarding of EOR Employees as per client policies and Procedures

Handle the employer of record independently with multiple clients.

Maintain up-to-date records of statutory payments and returns for audit purposes.

Coordinate with internal/external auditors for payroll and compliance audits.

Keep documentation for salary registers, PF & ESI registers, PT/LWF records, etc.
