Manager, Payments Compliance

As a Compliance Manager at PhonePe, you play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance across various sectors. Your responsibilities include: - Working closely with the business to implement relevant regulatory guidelines and formulate project plans for compliance. - Tracking ETAs and timelines for implementation, sharing updates with stakeholders, and storing evidence for future audits. - Providing compliance certifications periodically and staying updated on regulatory developments and best practices. - Assisting during regulatory inspections, explaining audit requirements to stakeholders, and supporting in audit finding responses and implementation of controls. In terms of Policies and Procedure Governance, you will: - Review non-IT related policies regularly and seek management approvals in a timely manner. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build specific policies and procedures for new products. - Implement controls to ensure compliance procedures are followed, evaluate process efficiency, and document compliance-related processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for team building and management reporting, including: - Building and managing high-performing teams, creating growth charters for team members. - Maintaining reports and KPIs for the Compliance team to ensure healthy processes. Basic and Advanced Qualifications required for this role include: - Comprehensive knowledge of the Indian Financial Services Industry, fraud control environment, risk categorization methodologies, and ability to create, monitor, and evaluate policies. - Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures, clear communication skills, analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and high ethical standards. - Certification as a compliance professional is a plus.
