JOB DESCRIPTION Profile Manager-Operations Operations Operations Center Level Heads: Reported by: 1. OP & IP Manager 2. HR & Admin 3. Accounts 4. Biomedical Engineer IP Manager 5. Nursing Superintendent IP Manager 6. Pharmacist IP Manager Job Objective Responsible for managing the day to day Operations and P&L, assuring sound fiscal operation while promoting services that are produced in a cost effective manner; ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies while monitoring the service and delivery system; interact and respond to the medical and non-medical staff and patients. Work closely with the Zonal / Regional Director and other Senior Management in developing the strategic direction of the company. Key Responsibilities Operations • Devise and implement strategies for achievement of financial targets. • Participate with the CEO /Head of Operations/ Regional Director / Zonal Director, Medical Staff and Senior Management in the development and implementation of strategic plans. • Establish and attain challenging / achievable patient care, safety and education and customer service goals while maintaining financial viability. • Ensure institutionalization and adherence of standardized policies, systems & procedures at the facility. • Liaise with the legal, political and social, IR environment to ensure successful operations of all facilities within the Center. • Establish and maintain communication with the Consultants and the other Medical staff to ensure accomplishment of mutual beneficial unit goals. • Act as an escalation point for all Operational Issues related to the Center and take suitable action by interfacing with the concerned stakeholders to obtain timely resolutions • Ensuring employee engagement in the Center and culture building through regular engagement activities. Culture & Capability building • • Ensure adherence to the code of conduct and stated values of the company. Establish and maintain a culture of open communication, accountability and timely decision making. • • Develop a pipeline of best-in-class human capital by supporting hiring, retaining key personnel and invest in training and development of key personnel and succession planning. Promote a high performance culture by institutionalizing innovative rewards and recognition programs Compliance / Process Enhancement Ensuring defined patient care standards/commitments are met. Facilitate strict compliance to statutory & accounting norms and regulatory norms of process/operational adherence • Adhere to code of conduct and uphold ethical practices Major Job Qualifications / Specific Skills Preferred Education: Required Education: • M.B.A / Graduation • MHA/ MBA in hospital Administration Experience (Indicative) • 6- 8 years of experience in the domain operations preferably in Healthcare sector Knowledge and Specific Skills • Thorough knowledge of Mgmt Principles, experience in operating efficiently in a complex decision making environment •
