Manager - Operations (Metro Projects)

The role holder will oversee and manage the project planning, techno commercials, budgeting and cost control functions across multiple Metro infrastructure projects from corporate office. This role is key in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget by implementing robust control systems and practices. Roles & Responsibilities: Experience in Project management, planning, executing construction projects involving method engineering, development, contract administration, and resource planning of Railway / Metro Projects. Monitoring and controlling project progress against baseline plans across multiple project sites. Having strong relationship with Clients, Consultants, Project Members, Engineers, Vendors, Sub-Contractors for framing structural parameters as well as the technical & commercial specifications. Expertise in reading the drawings, preparing BOQ and verifying the same based on drawings & specifications. Efficient in negotiation and risk mitigation, cost optimization, overseeing the contract cycle, technical matter resolving, contractual letters writing. Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with engineering consultants / collaborators, external suppliers, contractors & clients. Proper coordination with the client & consultant as well as co-workers & sub-contractors for timely completion of project with best quality Coordination with designers for clarifications in drawings for proper execution of works. Preparing detailed BOM, BOQ, w.r.t. materials, manpower, cost, etc to achieve the timely delivery within the budget. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and contractual obligations. Develop project performance KPIs and track Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics. Present periodic MIS to the Head Operations about various analytics and insights generated from understanding of design & drawing and contract agreement.
