Description
As the individual responsible for driving operational excellence, you will manage and control the input, movement, process, sort, and output of various functions within operations. Your primary focus will be on developing and influencing positive team outcomes. You will strategically manage assigned resources, departments, or locations to ensure the achievement of operational goals while maintaining compliance with company objectives and regulatory standards. By implementing effective processes and procedures, you will drive consistency and efficiency in operations, aligning all activities with organizational goals and regulatory mandates. Grade: 12M In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Leading the strategic management of resources, departments, or locations to achieve operational goals and regulatory compliance across diverse regions. - Recruiting, developing, and mentoring team members to enhance performance and align with individual and team objectives. - Ensuring team awareness of current processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain operational compliance. - Coordinating accurate and timely reporting across the area of responsibility, providing reports and presentations to senior management as needed. - Planning and scheduling resources, including rostering, to prioritize and complete departmental goals while effectively communicating targets and objectives to the team. - Overseeing team projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within allocated budgets and supporting project management processes. - Managing departmental budgets effectively, optimizing costs while staying within agreed parameters. - Building effective network relationships within the team and with key stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes. Qualifications: - Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree in business administration or a related field. - AiM certification is mandatory for Individual Contributors (FedEx employees). - Experience of minimum 3 to 5 years in managing teams, with industry experience being preferred.
