Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring cost efficiency, productivity, and timely delivery.
• Manage production scheduling, order execution, quality control, and dispatches.
• Coordinate raw material procurement, vendor development, and cost negotiations.
• Maintain efficient logistics, warehousing, and inventory tracking systems
• Lead production planning, capacity utilization, and resource optimization to meet market demand.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and best-in-class practices to achieve operational excellence.
• Monitor statutory compliance related to manufacturing, safety, environment, and labor.
• Collaborate closely with Quality leadership to ensure that plant operations support the quality requirements.

People Leadership

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in production, logistics, and procurement.
• Define department-wise KPIs and ensure accountability through regular reviews.
• Foster collaboration among Sales, Accounts, and Marketing for operational synergy.
• Foster a high-performance culture with emphasis on safety, ethics, and teamwork.

Financial & Business Impact

• Monitor and control operational budgets, plant costs, and CAPEX/OPEX utilization.
• Drive profitability through efficiency improvements, cost optimization, and waste reduction.
• Assist senior management in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Implement performance dashboards and conduct periodic business reviews.
• Identify automation/ERP integration opportunities for efficiency improvement.

Key Requirements

• Qualification:

  B.Tech. / M.Tech (mandatory) with MBA in Operations.

• Experience:

  7+ years in manufacturing operations (FMCG or Chemical manufacturing experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, automation, and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
