Manager - Operational Excellence

Job Description

Ensure strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and site safety protocols. Guide OE members in coordinating with site-level AETs (Area Excellence Teams) and SETs (Site Excellence Teams). Provide on-the-ground support for continuous improvement activities and problem-solving sessions. Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to drive and support site-level OE initiatives. Facilitate implementation of 5S and Visual Management across site functions. Engage with suppliers for alignment and execution of OE initiatives relevant to the site. Initiate and lead theme launches to encourage active participation in the SFTI (Shop Floor Team Involvement) program. Conduct OE and Six Sigma trainings for various team levels. Guide teams in successful execution and closure of Six Sigma projects across different belts (Yellow, Green, Black). Identify improvement opportunities and develop a robust pipeline of cost-saving projects. Support and implement high-impact projects aligned with business goals. Coordinate periodic review meetings with site leadership and corporate OE teams to track OE progress and savings. Facilitate monthly and quarterly SFTI review meetings. Undertake special tasks and projects assigned by the reporting manager or site head. Support internal audits and Quality/EHS systems in line with regulatory expectations. Act as the site-level DI Champion, ensuring compliance and effectiveness of Data Integrity SOPs and corporate policies. Qualifications Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. Certification in Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred). Minimum 6 years experience in Operational Excellence roles within the pharmaceutical Proven track record in leading improvement projects and team engagement initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and project management tools Excellent communication and facilitation skills Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams Knowledge of cGMP, EHS, and Data Integrity standards
