Manager NPI

In your role at Centum Electronics Ltd, you will be responsible for managing NPI (New Product Introduction) projects from concept to production readiness. This involves ensuring timely execution and customer satisfaction. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers during the NPI phase, understanding their requirements and translating them into internal deliverables. Coordination with engineering, sourcing, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams is essential to ensure alignment and readiness. Your role will also involve defining and optimizing manufacturing processes and workflows for new products. Facilitating DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), and DFT (Design for Testability) reviews with internal teams and customers is crucial. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical documentation such as BOMs, process flows, FMEA, control plans, and work instructions. Planning and executing prototype and pilot builds to collect data for improving yield and performance is also part of your responsibilities. Implementing and managing engineering change orders (ECOs) and revisions during the NPI lifecycle, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies are key aspects of your role. Driving initiatives for continuous improvement in time-to-market, product quality, and cost efficiency is also expected from you. To excel in this role, you should have 15-20 years of experience in NPI, Technology Transfer, Manufacturing, and Engineering. Good communication and presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, leadership qualities, and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Office tools is required. The educational background required for this position is BE in EEE / ECE.,
