Job Description

Key Functional Responsibilities:

Ensure expected quality compliance as per customer requirements to establish strong market presence.

Evaluate and address the technical queries of customers and their customers directly or through Sales colleagues to support and influence customer to choose our products
Lead interaction with customers to capture their technical requirements pertaining to finished goods
Ensure transfer of the inputs to process with compliance in finished goods
Facilitate and support in meeting customer clients requirements
Engage with technical bodies like National Metallurgical Laboratory, Tata Steel R&D & Met lab, CII, BEPL etc.

Ensure compliances and organizational requirements pertaining to finished goods

Ensure compliances to IMS, Legal and company requirements
Engage with local and central BIS teams and perform role of MTD4 technical committee for compliances and fulfil company’s requirement.
Lead & support 3rd party inspection activities for CSB & Downstream respectively

Customer Complaint Management

Address, guide and support product supplied quality and performance issues at Customer and even at their end client’s places to satisfactory resolution

Perform role of Business Process Manager (BPO) - Material Master

Prepare & review guidelines and SOPs pertaining to creation of material numbers in SAP
Evaluate and approve the material number creation request and bill of material (BOM)

Raw material quality management

Develop & Review suppliers of major raw materials i.e. Steel, Zinc, Al-Si, Chemicals, paints
Examine and approve materials returned to suppliers
