Job Description

To ensure seamless government liaison, statutory compliance, and efficient management of facility operations. The role is responsible for maintaining regulatory adherence, coordinating with authorities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of all facility-related services.

Key Responsibilities

A. Liaison & Regulatory Coordination

  • Coordinate with government authorities: municipal corporation, DMHO, Drug office, fire department, labour office, PCB, AERB, police, electricity board, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the hospital during inspections, audits, and compliance meetings.
  • Maintain cordial relationships with government agencies to ensure smooth approvals and timely support.

B. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all hospital-related statutory requirements including:
    • Bio-Medical Waste Rules
    • Fire & Safety NOC
    • Pollution Control Board consents
    • AERB licensing
    • PCPNDT
    • Drug regulation
    • Labour Law compliance and renewals
    • Shops & Establishments registration
  • Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure all statutory licenses, permits, and registrations are renewed within time.
  • Maintain documentation, registers, trackers, and audit readiness at all times.

C. Facilities Management

  • Oversee maintenance, engineering coordination, housekeeping, security, pest control, and waste management.
  • Allocate accommodation and rentals
  • Track the renewals of rental properties
  • MOUs/agreements along with the legal team
  • Conduct periodic facility audits, safety checks, and hygiene assessments.

D. Reporting & Communication

  • Submit regular updates to management on compliance, facility issues, inspections, and risk areas.
  • Prepare MIS reports, incident reports, and compliance dashboards.
  • Coordinate effectively with clinical, nursing, engineering, and other admin teams.
