Job Description

proactive and detail-oriented Patent Analyst / IP Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive
patentability, infringement, freedom-to-operate (FTO)
and
invalidity searches
.
Perform in-depth
patent landscape analysis
to support R&D and business strategy.
Monitor competitive IP activities and emerging technologies.
Draft and review invention disclosures in collaboration with R&D teams.
Support patent filing strategies and coordinate with external patent attorneys, as required.
Maintain IP databases and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
Provide IP-related insights to enable informed decision-making on innovation and product development.

Desired Profile:

Bachelors / Masters degree in
Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy
or a related discipline.
24 years of prior experience
in IP analysis, preferably in the pharmaceutical or nicotine product domain.
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
Experience working with
patent databases
(e.g., Orbit, PatBase, WIPO, Espacenet) is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional R&D and business teams.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
