Previous experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role. Conduct drivetrain testing while ensuring adherence to test conditions and guidelines, and understanding the test objectives. Manage data acquisition equipment, ensuring the accuracy of collected data, and interpret data to verify the proper functioning of test equipment. Test stand Fixture Model - drawing preparation, Development and installation. Familiarity with various testing methodologies. Understanding of quality standards and safety regulations. Troubleshooting skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Document technical issues and solutions effectively. Perform data collection and analysis, ensuring compliance with test protocols. Troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical issues related to test equipment and powertrains, and contribute to problem-solving efforts. Analyze test results, identify issues, and trace root causes. Recommend fixes and process improvements. Assist with the maintenance of test equipment to ensure its proper functioning. Role & responsibilities Knowledge of gearbox or axle or shaft design Conceptualize new products using Creo 8.0 Hands-on knowledge of CREO 8.0 is must. Modeling, Assembly, Drafting. Conceptual layout and design of driveline aggregates. Making and updating of CAD models and drawings of housings, gears, assembly level and other related parts of driveline. Drawing checking and release for manufacturing. Knowledge of engineering calculation for gearbox parts. Knowledge of manufacturing processes like casting, forging, machining & sheet metal etc. Knowledge of DFMEA is required. Working knowledge of ECN, ECR and BOM creation. Benchmarking of existing product. Interact with manufacturing, quality and other team during proto development. Shall have GD&T, DFMEA working knowledge Gear and bearing calculation Preferred candidate profile Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 2 to 4 years Joining Period: Shall not be more than 30 days.
