Manager - In House Brands (Sourcing/Planning)

• Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, forecast material needs, and align procurement with company objectives.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with new and existing suppliers; negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms.
• Procurement & Inventory: Oversee the entire procurement process, manage inventory levels, and coordinate material distribution and logistics.
• Cost & Quality Control: Analyze market trends, implement cost-saving initiatives, and ensure all sourced materials meet quality specifications.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Designer, Operations, finance, Production, Vendor, and management to forecast needs, resolve issues, and support new product development.
• New Product Development: R&D is mandatory in the competitive brand strategy and develop new line/product through designers
• Competitor Analysis : To understand the product gap if any compared to similar brands & focus on whats trending in market
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement lean/Six Sigma projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the supply chain.
• Reporting & Compliance: Maintain detailed procurement records, budgets, and ensure adherence to safety/regulatory standards. 

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant experience of 8 to 10 yrs in Fashion Merchandising 
• Sourcing & Vendor Management
• Material Planning & Production experience 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field, such as Marketing/Textile/Garment technology.

• A Master’s degree in a related filed will be an added advantage.
