Job Description

As the Head of HR at our Dahej unit, your primary responsibility is to lead the HR function and formulate ER-IR/HR strategies to maintain industrial harmony, drive the HR agenda, and manage critical change management initiatives. Your role involves partnering with various business functions to ensure smooth operations and employee engagement. Your key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: Industrial Relation Management: - Implement proactive IR practices to maintain industrial harmony. - Handle legal cases related to labor laws effectively. - Manage employee discipline and grievance redressal processes. Statutory Compliances and Contract Labour Management: - Ensure 100% statutory compliance related to labor laws. - Liaise with statutory authorities as required. - Manage contract labor and vendor onboarding in compliance with regulations. Learning and Development: - Develop and implement learning initiatives for employee growth. - Collaborate with corporate functions to deploy various learning platforms. Employee Engagement: - Drive employee engagement activities and initiatives. - Ensure timely resolution of employee grievances. - Promote employee wellness programs and participation in various initiatives. Recruitment: - Lead recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes for executives and operators at the plant. Corporate Social Responsibility: - Implement CSR projects focusing on water and health management. - Encourage employee participation in CSR activities through volunteering programs. HR, Security, and Admin: - Onboard new vendors as per guidelines. - Oversee security and gate control processes, performing regular audits. - Manage facility services such as canteen, OHC, transportation, and IT systems. Education Qualifications: - Master of Social Work in Human Resource Management or Master in Business Administration in Human Resource Management. Previous Experience: - Minimum 10-12 years of industrial experience in manufacturing from tier 2 & tier 3 colleges. - 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing from tier 1 college. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the HR landscape of our unit, fostering positive employee relations, and driving organizational success through effective HR strategies and practices.,
