Role & responsibilities

  • Expertise in using specific payroll software
  • Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and complex calculations, along with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning systems for managing employee data
  • Accurate and efficient data entry for employee information, timekeeping, and payroll inputs.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret payroll-related financial reports and understand journal entries
  • Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations for payroll compliance.
  • Awareness of labor laws to ensure all employment practices adhere to legal requirements.
  • Ability to ensure that payroll processes meet all legal and company policy requirements.
  • Skill in identifying and resolving unexpected payroll challenges or discrepancies.

Preferred candidate profile

3+ years in NBFC payroll processing role.
