Meet the team: At Dexcom, the Firmware Verification and Validation team employs advanced technologies for product testing. We focus on automating tests and continually enhancing our solutions. Where you come in: You will Interview, Hire, and Grow a team of engineers to assist in performing device compatibility testing. You will mentor and guide junior engineers, guiding them in software requirements and design reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will lead a technical engineering team of testers. You will oversee the creation of software verification plans, test protocols, and software risk analyses for commercial products, ensuring that all standards are met. You will review and approve test reports that document detailed validation results and communicate test progress to upper management. You will enforce adherence to internal software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures in compliance with medical and security regulations. You will guide the modification of test protocols based on changes in requirements and oversee regression validation execution. You will foster collaboration among your team and with other engineering departments to achieve shared goals and enhance product quality. You will manage the lab environment, ensuring it is equipped and maintained for effective testing and development activities. You will continuously explore and evaluate new technologies to improve development efficiency. You have proficiency with test automation frameworks and programming languages such as Python and Java. You have leadership capabilities to guide people, teams, and projects in delivering comprehensive testing and automation across software products across multiple sites and geographies. Experience and Education Requirements: Typically requires a bachelor s degree in technical discipline with 8-12 years of industry experience With 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience Travel Required: 0-5%
