Manager, Finance

As a Manager, Finance at ICON, you will lead the finance business partnering (FBP) group to provide financial and consulting services, adding value, direction, and leadership to the business. Your responsibilities will include managing a team, owning project finances, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the company's overall financial objectives. - Lead the PFA team with a focus on high-quality delivery and center of excellence. - Recruit and onboard talent for the team as per requirements and timelines. - Provide training and support to new joiners for a smooth onboarding process. - Ensure 100% accuracy on reports from your team with timely deliverables. - Own and develop the "Own It @ ICON" culture and the ICON four Values. - Take ownership of study end-to-end, analyze financial and operational metrics, discuss adverse metrics with Project Manager, and report to the Vice President for decision-making. - Handle external reporting to sponsors, including monthly and quarterly reporting of sponsor-level MIS and other ad hoc reports. - Assist in preparing timely and accurate financial reports, revenue forecasts, and budget reconciliations. - Analyze monthly/quarterly financial results and key performance indicators, preparing reporting packages with insightful commentary. - Identify key revenue and margin drivers within the portfolio. - Build strong relationships with the Project Management group and support revenue reviews and management presentations. - Contribute to process improvement initiatives and streamline business processes. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4 years of experience in managing teams and conducting yearly appraisals. - Ability to interpret and analyze data, with numeracy and financial understanding. - Experience in project revenue business and financial analysis. - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial systems like Oracle, Hyperion, Alteryx, Power BI (an advantage). - Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with influencing abilities. - Desire to pursue further financial education (CA, CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar). - Educational requirements include a Bachelor's degree or its international equivalent and a professional accountancy qualification (CPA/CWA/CA/CMA) with 8+ years of post-qualification experience.,
