Job Description

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location:

Job Purpose:

Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Core Finance & Accounting Operations

  • Prepare and review financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
  • Ensure accurate

    trial balance scrutiny

    , ledger reconciliation, and closing processes.
  • Oversee

    accounting books finalization

    (monthly/quarterly/year-end).
  • Manage

    receivables, payables, and inventory

    for optimal working capital.
  • Review

    payroll processes

    including cost center allocation and reconciliations.
  • Perform

    bank reconciliations

    , inter-company reconciliations, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Lead

    cost analysis and expense control measures

    to support budgeting.

2. Strategic Finance & Planning

  • Develop

    annual budgets

    , forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Prepare

    monthly MIS reports

    with dashboards, KPIs, and variance analysis.
  • Build and evaluate

    financial models

    and business cases for new projects or initiatives.
  • Analyze business unit-wise or segment-wise

    profitability

    .
  • Drive

    cash flow forecasting

    and working capital optimization.

3. Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate and support

    statutory, internal, and tax audits

    .
  • Ensure timely compliance with

    ROC, GST, TDS, Income Tax

    and other regulatory filings.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors.
  • Maintain accurate and organized

    financial documentation

    and audit trails.
  • Handle TDS reconciliation, and GST input-output reconciliation.

4. Financial Controls & Risk Management

  • Establish and monitor

    internal controls

    to ensure data accuracy and prevent fraud.
  • Implement and monitor

    SOPs for financial processes

    .
  • Evaluate

    credit risk

    and assess vendor/customer creditworthiness.
  • Support

    risk assessments and internal financial health checks

    .

5. Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Engage with senior management (clients CFO/CEO) for financial strategy discussions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated business planning.
  • Train, mentor, and review performance of junior finance staff (if any).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CMA, CA, Semi-qualified CA with minimum 5 yrs. of experience, MBA (Finance).
  • Minimum

    5 years of hands-on experience

    in finance, preferably in a reputed CA/consultancy firm.
  • Prior experience in handling

    multiple clients or projects

    simultaneously.

Skills Required:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and dashboard tools.
  • Ability to analyze data, derive insights, and communicate them effectively.
  • High attention to detail and

    process-oriented approach

    .
  • Willingness to travel as per client/business needs.

Other Details:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Alternate Saturdays off) | 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM
  • Location: Gurugram (Preference for candidates nearby or willing to relocate)
