Manager, External Workforce

Role Overview: At Amgen, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the organization's external workforce to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and contractual obligations while supporting operational efficiency and workforce agility. Your expertise will contribute to advancing biotechnical and biopharmaceutical science to combat serious illnesses. Key Responsibilities: - Manage relationships with staffing agencies, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and other external workforce suppliers. - Administer the contingent workforce program, ensuring visibility, control, and cost-efficiency. - Ensure compliance with labor laws, classification rules, and internal policies. - Partner with hiring managers to assess needs and recommend sourcing models. - Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and labor laws for external workforce members. - Manage relationships with external staffing agencies or vendors to ensure high-quality services. - Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate terms as necessary. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 9+ years of overall work experience. - 5+ years of experience in external workforce management, procurement, or HR operations. - 3-5 years of experience in workforce management, HR, or recruitment. - Strong understanding of contingent workforce models, vendor management, and labor regulations. - Proficiency with HR software, Excel, and reporting tools. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of labor laws, contracts, and compliance requirements. - Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Proactive, flexible, and adaptable.,
