Technical Skills

1. JavaScript & HTML/CSS

Understanding how tags interact with the DOM
Writing custom JavaScript for tag conditions, variables, and custom HTML tags
Debugging and troubleshooting tag behaviour

2. Data Layer Knowledge

Familiarity with `dataLayer` in GTM and `data elements` in Adobe Launch
Mapping business requirements to data layer variables

3. Tag Configuration & Deployment

Setting up tags, triggers, and variables (GTM) or rules, data elements, and extensions (Adobe Launch)
Managing third-party tags (e.g., Meta Pixel, Floodlight, etc.)
Using templates and custom scripts

4. Debugging & QA Tools

Proficiency with browser dev tools (Chrome DevTools)
Using GTM’s Preview Mode and Adobe Launch’s Debugger
Tag validation tools like ObservePoint or Tag Inspector

Analytical & Marketing Skills

1. Web Analytics Platforms

Understanding of Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics
