Role Overview:

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, sales, and operations of the electric scrap business, including e-waste, Ceramic Catalytic Converter, Metalic Catalytic Converter, PCB Boards, Auto Catalyst Ceramic, Oxygen Sensors, electronic components, and related materials. The role requires expertise in sourcing scrap, vendor and buyer management, compliance with government/environmental norms, and maximizing profitability through efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Identify, develop, and manage suppliers of electric/electronic scrap in Haryana and nearby regions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and credit terms with scrap dealers and bulk sellers.
• Maintain strong relationships with scrap vendors, dismantlers, and aggregators.

2. Operations & Process Management

• Oversee sorting, dismantling, segregation, and storage of electrical/electronic scrap.
• Ensure optimum inventory levels and smooth flow of scrap materials.
• Implement quality checks for metals recovery and waste management.
• Coordinate logistics, transportation, and yard management.

3. Sales & Business Development

• Develop and maintain a customer base for resale/recycling of scrap.
• Negotiate deals with metal recyclers, foundries, smelters, and manufacturers.
• Explore export opportunities (if applicable).
• Achieve monthly/annual sales and profit targets.

4. Compliance & Sustainability

• Ensure operations comply with CPCB/SPCB guidelines, E-Waste Management Rules, and local Haryana Government policies.
• Maintain documentation for waste disposal, recycling, and environmental compliance.
• Drive sustainable and safe scrap handling practices.

5. Team Management & Reporting

• Lead and train staff involved in scrap collection, processing, and sales.
• Prepare MIS reports on procurement, sales, margins, and inventory.
• Monitor financial performance and suggest cost optimization strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 510 years experience in scrap trading, e-waste management, or metal recycling industry.
• Strong network with scrap vendors, recyclers, and buyers (especially in Haryana/NCR).
• Knowledge of compliance and environmental norms for scrap/e-waste.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage P&L and drive profitability.
