Job Description

Position:

Role Overview

Accountant

Key Responsibilities

India Operations

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts as per Indian GAAP.
  • File

    GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns

    on time.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and receivables tracking.
  • Prepare financial statements and reconciliation reports.
  • Assist with statutory audits and coordinate with auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with

    MCA/ROC filings

    .

Malta Operations (Training will be provided)

  • Enter and reconcile invoices, receipts, and expenses in

    Zoho Books / Xero

    .
  • Support preparation of

    Maltese VAT returns

    (training provided).
  • Assist in

    payroll processing

    for Malta employees.
  • Prepare

    P&L, balance sheet, and management reports

    .
  • Support audits and prepare audit schedules.
  • Manage

    inter-company reconciliations

    .

Qualifications & Skills

  • M.Com / CA-Inter / MBA (Finance).
  • Minimum

    35 years accounting experience

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    Indian GST, TDS, and Income Tax

    – mandatory.
  • Willingness to learn

    Maltese VAT and payroll

    – training provided.
  • Proficiency in

    Tally / Zoho Books / Xero / QuickBooks and MS Excel

    .
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with international teams.
