Manager - Electrical

Our client, a global leader in water technology and services for industrial and infrastructure markets, is seeking a Manager - Electrical to join their team in Ahmedabad. With a focus on addressing water scarcity through desalination, water reuse, and zero liquid discharge (ZLD), our client has successfully completed over 2,000 projects in 60 countries. Leveraging over 40 years of experience in handling challenging water treatment projects, they work with some of the world's most renowned companies to reduce water and carbon footprint, thereby mitigating water risk. As the Manager - Electrical, you will be responsible for the design of Electrical and control system drawings for the assigned projects. Your main duties will include developing detailed IO lists, control system architecture designs, overseeing the design of Skid/Field instrument JBs, PLC control panels, and single-line diagrams. Additionally, you will be involved in Power System studies, cable design, lighting layout design, and reviewing all drawings for accuracy. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 15-20 years of relevant experience. You must have a strong understanding of Electrical and control systems design, as well as working knowledge of international standards such as ISA, NEC, NEMA, UL, NFPA, IEC, and CE. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, MS Word, and Excel is required, or the ability to become proficient in MS Office. Experience in design and engineering of PLC/HMI, DCS, and control systems, particularly in power, petroleum, or process industries, is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role, as you will be required to interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. A positive attitude, good organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are also key attributes for success in this position. You should be willing to work extra hours when necessary, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow ISO requirements and company procedures diligently.
