The Manager- Education should have experience and expertise in multiple areas of the Education sector. The incumbent shall be responsible for business development and implementation of Education projects by IPE Global from time to time, and for providing technical inputs to various other projects within the practice. S/he shall also be responsible for leadership and guidance to the team on proposals and project deliverables. Key Performance Area :Business development and implementation of education sector projects .Provide technical expertise across project teams and clients for Education .Technical Capability Building of Education Team at IPE . Key Functions & Responsibilitie s: Technical Experti se:Lead pro-active and reactive business development for educati on.Maintain professional development and industry knowledge to ensure that projects reflect best practic es.Provide technical leadership and coordination for the scaling up of quali ty.Lead proposal developme nt. Innovative Approac hes:Bring forward to senior management, ideas, new methodologies, value-added changes to existing practi ces.Produce a pipeline as required from time to time and modifications/improvements to existing practi ces.Track and identify new business opportunit ies. Client Engage ment:Communicate with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions and strate gies.Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders and be responsible for achievement of g oals.Contributing to work planning, monitoring, evaluation and communication with internal and external stakehol ders.Work with other team members and in coordination with national, state and local government, non-governmental and multilateral/bilateral institutions to achieve project delivera bles. Partnership Develo pment:Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, education sector firms, and government b odies.Negotiate and finalize partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances to enhance the company's presence in the education s ector. Branding and Posit ioning:Publish in technical / trade journals, write papers on chosen technical expertise, or speak at industry events representi ng IPE.Promote IPE through speaking engagements at industry conferences and involvement in local business organiz ations. Others:Ensure that all work submitted as part of the proposal, research and development is technicall y sound.Support the Knowledge Management initiative by providing technical inputs, write ups, cas es, etc. Qualifications And ex perience:MBA/ Master's degree in a relevant field such as economics, business, education, or a relat ed field.At least 8-12 years of experience in the education sector with a focus on business development activities along with implementation of projects. Essential skillsets:Strong understanding of relevant policies and Schemes/P rogrammes/Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levelsWell-networked with the stakeholders in the ski lls domainExperience of designing/implementing Donor funded and Central/State Government Technical Assistance/capacity building programmesA good team player with the ability to work on own initiativeCapable of taking initiatives on their own with minimum level of su pervision.Excellent communication skills: able to clearly communicate complex information verbally and i n writing.Result oriented approac h to work.Open to working in multi-cultural environments and effectively in small and la rge teams.Knowledge of Teacher Professional Development, Early Childhood Education or other thematic areas in educati on sector.Strong understanding of various Government skills developmen t schemes.
