Manager Direct Taxation

As a seasoned professional with 10 to 15 years of experience in Direct Taxation, you will be joining our Finance team to manage all direct tax compliances, tax planning, audits, assessments, and litigation support for the organization. - Handle all Direct Tax compliances, including TDS, Income Tax Returns, Advance Tax, and Tax Audits. - Responsible for accurate tax provisioning and quarterly/annual tax filings. - Manage tax assessments, appeals, and litigations before Income Tax authorities. - Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and consultants for tax matters. - Ensure compliance with applicable Income Tax laws and regulatory changes. - Prepare and review tax computations and supporting documentation for statutory audits. - Handle Transfer Pricing documentation and audits if applicable. - Evaluate and implement tax-saving opportunities and assist in strategic tax planning. - Represent the company in tax hearings and assessment proceedings. - Ensure timely closure of all tax-related queries from internal and external stakeholders. - Maintain updated knowledge of recent amendments in tax laws and their implications. Preferred Background: - 10-15 years of relevant experience in Direct Taxation. - Experience in Infrastructure, Transportation, or EPC sector will be an added advantage. - Candidates from corporate tax functions of mid/large enterprises are preferred. You should possess a strong understanding of Indian Income Tax Laws, have experience in litigation management and handling assessments/appeals, be proficient in MS Excel, Tally/ERP systems, and Direct Taxation tools, exhibit excellent communication and coordination skills, have an eye for detail with a compliance-driven approach, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving ability. The job is full-time and permanent with a day shift from Monday to Friday, requiring in-person work at the designated location.,
