Assistant Manager – Software Testing Location: Mumbai Department: Operations Job Summary: The Assistant Manager – Software Testing supports the planning, execution, and oversight of software testing activities. This role bridges the gap between testers and senior management, ensuring quality standards are met while mentoring junior team members and coordinating with developers and business analysts. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements - Identify, document, and track software defects - Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback - Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues - Support UAT, regression, and performance testing cycles - Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards - Assist in mentoring junior testers and coordinating team activities - Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools Required Skills & Qualifications: - 4–7 years of experience in software testing - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication - Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools - Understanding of SDLC and STLC - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
