Manager - Civil

As a Manager Civil at our thermal power plant site, your role will involve overseeing civil construction activities for various components such as BTG, BOP, Boiler, Turbine, and structures. Your responsibilities will include planning, scheduling, and executing civil works according to project timelines and safety standards. Additionally, you will be required to prepare, review, and validate civil engineering drawings and technical documentation, manage site execution including contractor coordination, resource planning, and quality control, ensure compliance with regulatory norms, safety protocols, and engineering standards, as well as provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to project leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee civil construction for thermal power plant components including BTG, BOP, Boiler, Turbine, and structures. - Plan, schedule, and execute civil works in line with project timelines and safety standards. - Prepare, review, and validate civil engineering drawings and technical documentation. - Manage site execution, including contractor coordination, resource planning, and quality control. - Ensure compliance with regulatory norms, safety protocols, and engineering standards. - Provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to project leadership. Qualifications: - Education: B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering - Experience: 12-16 years in civil construction, preferably in thermal power plant projects - Skills: Project planning, site execution, drawing review, team leadership, and vendor management In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you should possess the following preferred attributes: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management - Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management tools Please note that willingness to work in remote project locations is also a requirement for this role.,
