Manager - Civil

Role & responsibilities

• Finalise project schedule for civil and interior in line with overall project schedule.
• Finalise list of drawings, documents with schedule which are to be received from architect and structural consultant.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders (architect, structural & service consultants, vendors, etc) and internal stake holders (bio medical engineering team, end user depts., engineering team, etc) to finalise layouts.
• Coordinate with architect and consultants to ensure that requirements are well interfaced in architecture layouts.
• Finalise BOQ, target cost and assess target cost vis--vis budgeted amount.
• Receive quotes, prepare comparatives, negotiate and finalise work orders and purchase orders.
• From overall project schedule, generate monthly and quarterly targets. Provide these targets to concerned vendors/contractors and project team members for execution.
• Assess any hold ups and resolve hold ups related to drawings, material, manpower, etc through discussions/ meetings architect, consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Undertake site rounds to ensure timely progress of work and adherence of quality standards.
• Ensure timely measurement of executed work, verification of bills and timely process with required supporting documents. Undertake required action to regularize non-scheduled items, if any, through rate analysis,
• Ensure that required site safety standards are adhered.
• Undertake maintenance work as and when needed.

Coordinate with end users for smooth hand over.

Preferred candidate profile

BE Civil

8 to 10 yrs must have handled at least one 200 bedded super specialty hospital project from end to end of a reputed group. Experience in RCC structure of building with two and above basements, 8 to 10 storeys, de-watering and pile retaining wall is essential.

Experience in Interior works is desirable
