The role of Manager (Channel Sales) is with Holidays (Tours) business of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. (Brand: Vacations Exotica). Location is Chennai
Objective of the role is to promote and raise awareness about Vacations Exotica - the Holidays brand of Balmer Lawrie, in the distribution network, with the goal to drive retail sale of tour packages - primarily outbound, through tour agents across South India

MTM or equivalent / MBA /Graduate Engineer OR Any Graduate, Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3)
Candidates having specialization in Travel and/or Tourism and related domains or those having additional Certifications/ diploma etc. in Travel and/or Tourism shall be preferred.
Minimum Experience: 6 years for MTM or Equivalent/ MBA/ Graduate Engineer OR 9 years for Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3)
Destination Knowledge, Knowledge of Tour packages to Global destination incl. Europe/ USA/ other foreign and exotic destinations, Awareness about tour agents active in South India, Ability to connect and engage with tour agents, present the value propositions, build and maintain relationships with the agents, leverage relationships for achieving the targets for sales of Vacations Exotica (Balmer Lawrie brand) tour packages through the agents
Candidates with prior experience of selling holidays through dealer/ distributor/ agent network will be preferred
Selected candidates will be placed on a three-year fixed-term contract. Compensation will be linked to qualification and experience. The selected candidates will also be entitled to eligible Statutory benefits including PF, ESI, (if covered), Bonus as per the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 (if covered) etc. and Gratuity as per rules.
Government of India directives regarding Reservation of SC/ST/OBC/PwBD will be applicable
