Position Overview We are looking for a professional to join our analytics Team in Pune, India. A successful candidate should be an analytically minded hands-on individual with a strong academic background, entrepreneurial spirit, and interest in data analytics. Our Analytics Team helps our clients across the globe, identify their highest-value prospects and customers and deliver relevant messages to those people using a census-level data stack and advanced tools for custom audience creation, extension (via look-alike models), and syndication to activation platforms. These capabilities represent an important part of our current business, with very strong growth potential. The team objective is to accelerate our growth, delivering strong revenue gains by attracting new clients and delighting current clients to retain and expand their engagement. The team support this goal through high-quality delivery and reporting on projects viz. campaign reporting, audience segmentation, look-alike modeling, audience activation, and closed-loop measurement of media outcomes (reach, frequency, sales impact, etc.). This role is based in Pune but will be supporting teams around the world Responsibilities • Leverage data to understand our global business in depth by using advanced analytical tools to interpret data, identify trends, and translate analyses into recommendations to improve effectiveness and support business objectives • Build insights & optimizations into regular reports, present analysis to internal teams and stakeholders • Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines • Generate insights by digging into anomalies & changes in behavior to understand what may be causing this outcome • Recommend optimizations aligned to insights but understanding performance & opportunities to influence future performance • Create dahsboards, views, presentations, visualizations etc. to display findings and results utilizing various visualization tools (Power BI, Looker, Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, etc.) • Proactively monitor the business and report key insights on the business • Develop and maintain accurate tracking, capturing and reporting of key data and business metrics • Build relationships and collaborate with team members, business leaders, and other internal stakeholders to help solve organizational challenges • Identify appropriate datasets to be able to support analytics with the understanding and ability to conduct data extraction • Support ad-hoc reporting requests by: Understanding client business question & identifying which data can help answer this question Sourcing that data & applying necessary transformations to make data presentable Adding insights to completed report that answer client business question & recommendation optimizations where applicable Qualification - Required Skills • 6 to 12 years of experience in Analytics domain • A bachelors degree in statistics, mathematics, econometrics, quantitative finance, actuarial science or engineering from a reputable university is a must • High level of expertise in SQL with ability to deal with large & multiple datasets • Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau / Power BI / Looker • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy • Aptitude for numbers and a curiosity about information and data • Ability to present data in a clean, concise visual and written manner • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines Qualifications - Desired Skills • An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. • Experience working with large datasets using Python is desirable • Good hands-on MS-Excel. VBA would be a plus. • Candidates who have understanding of media and marketing domain would be preferred • Demonstrates curiosity about what drives business trends and customer behaviors
