We are looking for a highly motivated Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our Large Client Solutions (LCS) team. With marquee cricketing properties such as the ICC World Cup, IPL, and bilateral series, this role is pivotal in driving exponential revenue growth through strategic account management and client partnerships.
The KAM will focus on large and high-potential accounts while also converting emerging clients into long-term strategic partners. This role demands a consultative, data-driven approach to ensure client retention, pipeline acceleration, and upselling across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Strategic Client Partnerships: Build and nurture long-term, consultative relationships with high-value clients by deeply understanding their business models, marketing goals, and industry contexts, especially for digital-first, start-up, and IPO-bound brands.
- Own End-to-End Account Management: Act as the single point of contact for each account, managing the full client lifecycle from pre-sales strategy and solutioning to post-campaign analysis and revenue growth planning.
- Deliver Insight-Led Storytelling: Craft tailored, high-impact presentations and proposals using data, industry trends, and brand narratives to articulate the value of marquee sports properties like IPL, ICC, and bilateral series.
- Excel in Data-Driven Planning: Leverage advanced Excel skills to build campaign projections, monitor ROI, and deliver comprehensive post-campaign evaluation reports and Brand Lift Studies.
- Engage High-Touch, High-Potential Clients: Maintain consistent, high-frequency interactions with clients through daily communication, strategic reviews, and in person meetings to ensure alignment and engagement.
- Consult and Educate Clients New to Sports: Guide brands that are new to sports advertising by simplifying the ecosystem, educating them on value creation, and helping them navigate media investment confidently.
- Collaborate Across Internal Teams for Integrated Solutions: Partner with internal stakeholders including Product, Revenue Strategy, Brand Solutions, Ad Ops, and Finance to develop seamless, multi-platform solutions across TV, digital, branded content, and sponsorships.
- Identify Upsell and Cross-Sell Opportunities: Proactively spot client expansion opportunities through data analysis, audience targeting, and trend tracking, converting tactical spends into long-term strategic partnerships.
- Enable Post-Campaign Growth Strategy: Lead post-campaign discussions with sharp insights, performance data, and forward-looking recommendations that deepen the client relationship and encourage reinvestment.
- Ensure Revenue Predictability and Pipeline Health: Maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline, drive timely forecasting, and ensure continuous business momentum from your assigned accounts.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4-5 years of media experience, preferably with a publisher, broadcaster, or sports marketing setup.
- Strong client servicing skills with a consultative mindset.
- Exposure to branded content or sports sponsorships is a plus.
- Attitude, initiative, and team chemistry matter more.
- Someone who can build strong internal & external relationships.
