Manager- Actuarial

Required candidate with around 5-8 years of working experience preferably in the modelling function of a life insurance company, having cleared at least 5 actuarial exams. The candidate is expected to maintain actuarial Prophet Model (Coding & Testing) for monthly/quarterly reporting. 

Responsibilities

·      Identify the change/error/refinements and check it independently from File and Use or any other source to justify the reason for change.

·      Make changes in coding of variables in library.

·      Check through diagram view by running the model whether coding changes are implemented correctly.

·      Understanding new product features and setup new products in Prophet Model.

·      Testing of all cashflows (Best Estimate & Valuation) independently on excel.

·      Regression testing on product level to ensure consistency with reported results.

·      Impact analysis and justification of results with detailed reasons.

·      Documentation of all changes made in coding along with results and impact analysis in release document.

Qualifications

· A bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 actuarial exams.

· Out of total experience, at least 3 years of working experience preferably in the Actuarial modelling function of a life insurance company.

· Sound knowledge of advanced MS Excel, VBA and Prophet coding.

· Knowledge of Actuarial software like Prophet, DCS etc.

· Conceptual thinker with strong analytical, data management skills, work attitudes to details and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
