Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the proper functioning of equipment, systems, and facilities through routine maintenance checks and preventative measures. You will be tasked with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues that may arise, as well as inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to guarantee stability, quality, and safety. In this role, you will be expected to conduct repairs and replace worn or damaged parts as needed, while also managing inventory of equipment parts, supplies, and tools. Additionally, you will handle work order management by processing incoming requests, prioritizing tasks, and effectively communicating with stakeholders. It is crucial to adhere to safety regulations, procedures, and protocols at all times and maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including work orders, reports, and inventory. Your contribution to ongoing improvement initiatives will be key to enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the maintenance operations. You should possess technical proficiency in trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanics, along with strong troubleshooting and problems-solving skills. A sound understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics, will be essential. Safety awareness, effective communication and collaboration with colleagues, supervisors, and clients, as well as strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently, are also required.
