HouseKeeping Linen Room Attendar

Receiving and Sorting: Receiving clean linen deliveries from vendors and verifying quantities against invoices, sorting soiled linens by type and condition, and preparing them for laundry. Distribution: Delivering clean linens to various departments like housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest floors, restocking linen carts and shelves. Organization and Storage: Organizing and stocking boxed linen and bedding storage areas, and keeping hallways clear of hampers and supplies. Inventory Management: Counting linen inventory on shelves, tracking linen usage, and reporting shortages to supervisors. Laundry Assistance: Depending on the setting, they may assist with washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, as well as operating and maintaining laundry equipment. Other Duties: May include receiving and returning guest laundry, refilling guest room amenities, and maintaining cleanliness in laundry and linen storage areas. Required Skills and Qualities: Organization and Attention to Detail: Linen Attendants must be able to organize linens efficiently and accurately, paying attention to details like type, quantity, and condition. Physical Stamina: This role involves standing and moving for extended periods, carrying heavy hampers and linen items. Communication Skills: Effective communication is needed to interact with other staff, receive requests, and report issues. Ability to Follow Instructions: Linen Attendants must be able to follow established procedures and instructions for handling and storing linens. Basic Math Skills: Counting and tracking linen quantities requires basic arithmetic skills.
