Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections of solar panels, inverters, and other system components to ensure they are functioning properly.
  
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in solar power systems and components.
  
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power systems.
  
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks as per company guidelines and industry standards.
  
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities.
  
• Assist in maintaining records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and replacements.
  
• Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
  
• Provide technical support and advice to customers when necessary.
  
• Follow up with the procurement team for required parts and equipment.
  
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:

  Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Experience:

  Fresher to 2 years of experience in solar maintenance, electrical, or electronics maintenance.
• Basic understanding of solar systems, inverters, and electrical circuits.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Knowledge of safety standards and electrical regulations.
  
• Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in solar maintenance.
  
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  
• Willingness to learn and grow within the renewable energy industry.
  

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) system design and operations.
  
• Experience with SCADA systems or other monitoring systems.
  
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  
• Certification in solar system installation or maintenance (desirable but not mandatory).
