Maintenance Technician

Role Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of plant, machinery, utilities, and facilities. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, breakdown management, safety compliance, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily mechanical, electrical, and utility maintenance activities
• Plan and execute preventive & breakdown maintenance schedules
• Ensure minimum downtime of machines and equipment
• Coordinate with production/site teams for maintenance planning
• Maintain records of maintenance logs, checklists, and reports
• Manage technicians, electricians, and fitters on shift
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory norms
• Coordinate with vendors for AMC, spares, and repair works
• Monitor spare parts inventory and raise indent requisitions
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification activities

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical & electrical maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and utilities
• Team handling and shift management skills
• Knowledge of safety practices and SOPs
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, maintenance logs, CMMS)

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 0–3 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Experience in manufacturing / construction / industrial environment preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
