3. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Preventive Maintenance

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all machines and equipment.
• Ensure timely servicing to avoid breakdowns.
• Maintain PM checklists and records.

B. Breakdown Maintenance

• Attend equipment breakdowns immediately.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Implement quick corrective actions to restore equipment.

C. Machine & Equipment Monitoring

• Monitor machine performance, vibration, temperature, and abnormalities.
• Suggest improvements to enhance machine life & efficiency.
• Maintain spares availability and raise purchase requests when required.

D. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and daily activity records.
• Prepare MTTR, MTBF reports (if applicable).
• Update maintenance history cards.

E. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures during maintenance work.
• Ensure all machines comply with safety standards.
• Conduct safety checks for equipment (guards, emergency switches, etc.).

F. Coordination

• Coordinate with production team for machine availability.
• Support external service technicians or contractors.
• Communicate major issues to Maintenance Head or Plant Manager.

G. Improvement Activities

• Participate in Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.
• Suggest modifications in machines for better productivity.

4. Skills Required

• Knowledge of mechanical & electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read machine drawings, wiring diagrams, tool usage.
• Hands-on experience with welding, fitting, power tools (as required).
• Basic PLC/automation knowledge (added advantage).
• Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills.

5. Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.

6. Experience

• 1–5 years in industrial maintenance (preferably manufacturing industry).

7. Work Timings

• Shift or general shift (as per company requirement).
