Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer at Imerys, you will play a crucial role in servicing and maintaining electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing preventive maintenance of various electrical equipment, supervising installation activities, and evaluating the efficiency of electrical systems. Effective communication across the organization, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, and managing the Electrical departmental budget will also be part of your duties. Key Responsibilities: - Service and maintain electrical systems, such as HT & LT Panels, Transformers, Distribution Panels, and Oil filled Auto Voltage Regulator & its protection circuits - Plan and execute preventive maintenance to minimize breakdown time - Supervise pre-installation activities and inspect installations to ensure performance meets equipment specifications - Prepare schedules, progress reports, and maintain inventory records - Evaluate the efficiency of electrical systems, machinery, components, and products - Troubleshoot in a fast-paced production environment or as a measurement and control technician with PLC knowledge - Manage backups of programs and parameters, detect breakdowns related to PLC and instrumentation, and adapt PLC programs to new needs - Communicate and collaborate across the organization, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, and driving continuous improvements Qualification Required: - Diploma/degree in Electrical, Automation, electro-mechanics, option Measurement and Control Technology or equivalent - Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the same field,
