We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company's facilities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that your colleagues have access to the best physical resources within the allocated budget to effectively carry out their duties. Your responsibilities will include developing maintenance procedures, conducting regular inspections to identify and address issues, checking the functionality of electrical and hydraulic systems, planning and supervising repair and installation activities, managing upkeep staff, monitoring equipment inventory, controlling the maintenance budget, maintaining relationships with contractors and service providers, keeping maintenance logs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. To excel in this role, you must have your own vehicle and demonstrate proven experience in a maintenance management or similar managerial position. You should possess expertise in planning maintenance operations, a solid understanding of technical aspects such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems, knowledge of facilities machines and equipment, the ability to track and report on activities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and leadership abilities, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management would be advantageous, and a valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) certification is a plus.
