Mainframe Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support

  Mainframe applications

  using

  COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2

  .
• Design and develop

  modern applications

  using

  Java, .Net, or Python

  .
• Work with

  databases

  (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL) and optimize queries for performance.
• Participate in

  cloud integration, migration, and deployment

  initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver

  end-to-end solutions

  .
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application stability.
  
• Follow

  coding standards, security protocols, and best practices

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in

  Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2

  .
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern programming language:

  Java, .Net, or Python

  .
• Knowledge of

  databases

  and ability to write optimized SQL queries.
• Exposure to

  cloud platforms

  like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of

  integration between legacy and modern systems

  .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with

  Microservices, Spring Boot, or React

  is a plus.
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD, DevOps practices, Docker, Kubernetes

  .
• Experience in

  application modernization projects

  .
• Should be ready to join immediately or with 15 days notice period.
• Should have Min 60% cut off in the bachelor’s degree
• Should not have had a career break.
  

Education

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
