Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and related technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Perform code reviews and implement best practices to enhance system performance and reliability.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mainframe applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
Document processes and maintain comprehensive records of system changes and enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications:
B.Tech degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3-10 years of experience in mainframe development with a strong proficiency in COBOL.
Solid understanding of mainframe systems and architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DB2 and a strong understanding of database management systems.
Proven track record of successfully delivering mainframe projects on time and within budget.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
