Job Title: Lead Mainframe Developer / Mainframe Developer

We are seeking an experienced and driven Mainframe Developer / Lead Mainframe Developer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mainframe technologies and modernization, with hands-on experience in legacy migration and cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in Mainframe modernization and legacy migration projects.
• Work on migration initiatives including On-Prem to Cloud (Azure) and Mainframe to Micro Focus.
• Understand and analyze business requirements for modernization and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and support solutions using COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, MQ, VSAM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including onshore and offshore stakeholders.
• Apply automation techniques using Java or Python where applicable.
• Involve in REST API integration and basic validations using Java.
• Support production issues with strong problem-solving and triaging skills.
• Assist in building team compositions and work plans for migration projects.
• Contribute in an Agile environment
