Magento Backend Developer


If you enjoy solving complex challenges, building robust systems, and contributing to meaningful eCommerce solutions, we’d love to meet you!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Magento 2 backend functionalities and custom modules.
  • Integrate third-party systems, APIs, and services for seamless business workflows.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance of the eCommerce backend infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, UI/UX teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain site stability and uptime.
  • Work on REST/SOAP APIs, GraphQL, and headless commerce implementations.
  • Contribute to improving backend processes, coding standards, and best practices.


Qualifications (Backend Development):

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in

    Magento 2 backend development

    .
  • Strong command over

    PHP

    ,

    MySQL

    , and

    Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

    principles.
  • Proven experience in

    custom module development

    ,

    third-party integrations

    , and

    Magento 2 architecture

    .
  • Familiarity with

    REST/SOAP APIs

    ,

    GraphQL

    , and

    headless commerce

    workflows.
  • Knowledge of

    caching, performance tuning

    , and

    deployment pipelines

    (Git, Composer, CI/CD).
  • Exposure to

    Hyvä Checkout

    and backend compatibility will be a plus.
  • Strong debugging skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
