The Role: The Machine Maintenance Executive will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of all machinery and equipment in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role involves preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, troubleshooting, and supporting production teams to minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities: •Perform regular preventive maintenance of all production and packaging machines. •Diagnose and repair breakdowns to reduce machine downtime. •Maintain a logbook of machine performance, breakdowns, and servicing records. •Coordinate with the production team to ensure machine readiness before operations. •Assist in installation and validation of new machinery. •Monitor spare parts inventory and raise requirements on time. •Ensure compliance with safety and GMP standards during maintenance activities. •Support in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency. •Liaise with external vendors for specialized repair or servicing needs. Required qualification and skills: •2–5 years of experience in machine maintenance (preferably in pharma/cosmetic/FMCG industry). •Knowledge of preventive & corrective maintenance practices. •Hands-on experience with production & packaging machinery. •Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
