Machine Operator

Role Overview: As an operator in the food processing company, your primary responsibility will be to operate assigned food processing/packaging machines according to defined parameters. You will closely monitor machine performance, product quality, and production targets to ensure smooth operations. In the event of any breakdowns, it will be your duty to report them promptly to the maintenance team. Additionally, you will be responsible for the proper cleaning, lubrication, and upkeep of machines following preventive maintenance guidelines and SOP. Key Responsibilities: - Operate assigned food processing/packaging machines according to defined parameters. - Monitor machine performance, product quality, and production targets. - Report any machine breakdowns promptly to the maintenance team. - Clean, lubricate, and upkeep machines following preventive maintenance guidelines/SOP. - Accurately record machine output, downtime, and shift-wise production details. - Follow defined manufacturing practices, food safety standards, and hygiene standards. - Adhere to safety norms, use PPE properly, and maintain workplace discipline. - Coordinate effectively with the Production, QC, and Maintenance teams. - Assist in changeovers, material feeding, and process adjustments as necessary. - Support supervisors in process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience operating food processing/packaging machines is preferred. - Knowledge of food safety standards and manufacturing practices. - Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and communicate effectively with team members.
