MAC Support Engineer

You will be joining CACTUS as an Apple Support Engineer based in Mumbai. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the day-to-day operation of MacBook/Apple systems within the company's ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include providing end-user support by troubleshooting hardware and software issues for Apple macOS users. You will also be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing macOS systems, user accounts, and network settings. Additionally, you will administer Apple Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, support Apple Business Manager, Apple DEP, and iCloud configurations, as well as integrate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hybrid environments. Your role will involve system maintenance, data backups, and restoration operations, along with escalating unresolved technical issues to internal SMEs or external vendors. As an Apple Support Engineer at CACTUS, you will be expected to maintain comprehensive documentation for support procedures, continuously improve support processes, and monitor support tickets to ensure timely resolution. You should possess strong troubleshooting skills specific to Apple/macOS environments, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. To qualify for this role, you should have completed graduation in IT or a related field with over 3 years of experience as an Apple Support Engineer or hold a Certification in Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT). You should be proficient in English, comfortable with rotational shifts, and have experience working with Apple Remote Support technology, Apple Remote Desktop, Mac OS, and MS Office software for Mac. Knowledge of iCloud, Apple MDM solutions like JAMF, Apple Business Manager Programme, and basic Active directory and Exchange knowledge is essential. The application process for this role includes two technical rounds followed by an HR round with the HR Business Partner.
