Job Summary :

Microsoft 365 Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• Device & Endpoint Management: Configure and manage devices via Intune/MDM, enforce compliance, deploy applications, and manage OS patching.
• Exchange Online: Administer mailboxes, mail flow, security (anti-spam/malware), and eDiscovery.
• Teams & Collaboration: Manage Teams setup, governance, guest access, and integration with SharePoint/OneDrive.
• SharePoint Online: Manage sites, permissions, metadata, and document governance.
• Compliance & Purview: Implement DLP, retention, and insider risk policies; conduct audits and reports.
• Security (Defender): Configure Defender for Endpoint, Identity, and Cloud Apps; handle incidents and secure score improvements.
• Identity Management: Manage Azure AD (Entra ID) for MFA, SSO, RBAC, and conditional access.
• Azure Integration: Handle M365Azure connectivity (AD Connect, MFA, monitoring), ensuring secure hybrid operations.
• Exchange Online: Administer mailboxes, mail flow, security (anti-spam/malware), and eDiscovery. Microsoft releases.

Preferred candidate profile :

Education:

Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 5+ years in M365 administration, including Intune, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Purview, and Defender.
• 2 to 3 years with Azure services and hybrid identity environments.
• Experience managing endpoint security and OS updates in enterprises.

Technical Skills :

• M365 suite (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Purview, Defender).
• Azure AD, Intune, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API.
• Knowledge of IAM, MFA, SSO, conditional access, DLP, and incident response.
• Familiar with Azure AD Connect and hybrid environments.

Certifications (Preferred) :

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft 365 Security Administrator (MS-500)
